This still life reminds me of the old fashion grandmothers of years ago. Always with starched tablecloths, putting crocheted dollies on tables, and always wearing hats when they went shopping. My grandmother home always smelled like cookies or some wonderful food she was cooking for her family. While I painted this, I thought of my grandma Morgan. I hope you have happy memories of your grandmothers too.
