Abandoned Dreams

We see them around in every city and town, abandoned
buildings and stores, but they are really much more.

Every one of these places has a story to tell, about
the dreams to succeed and hopes not to fail.

Someone's life was involved and the struggle was great,
no one wants to give up, and some wait to late.

So that's why I'm sad when empty buildings I see,
for they all represent abandoned dreams to me.
