Sunday Morning at the General Store

This painting is based on living in a small town where the general store is the center of the community. Most folks that live there have a few dogs and of course, a old pickup truck is a must. We used to own a general store in a little town called Railroad Flat. On weekends there would always be people hanging out in front of the store. Everyone knew each other and it was a gathering place for both young and old. There is an old general store in the neighboring town of Sheep Ranch,and the gas pump in the painting is still there, with the price of $.18 cents per gallon printed on it just like in the painting.
